New Zealand singer Lorde celebrated her 28th birthday at a brat-style party in New York, sharing photos of her coffee table adorned with alcohol and drug paraphernalia on Instagram. 

Lorde, along with friend Charli XCX, partied in a low-key celebration in New York City.

A photo shows a table complete with chewing gum, empty wine glasses, and bottles of liquor, the table also had a bowl full of cigarettes, lighters, an ash tray, and a ceramic dish with what looked to be rolled joints sitting in it. 

The singer has been making headlines with her return to the limelight and collaborations with Charli XCX.
