Recently, Kash Doll discussed Eminem’s impact on hip-hop and how she feels about other Detroit artists criticizing him for not featuring more Detroit artists.
Kash Doll said, “I have not met Em yet. I want to, and I’m not even mad that he hasn’t tapped in. I don’t know, it’s something about men and women within this era, but I think we’re going to have our time.”
She continued, “I did a concert with 50 [Cent]. He came to Detroit, and I saw Em come out on stage, and I’m so mad I’m not backstage anymore anymore, but it would have taken so much for me to go back, so I was like, there will be a time that it’s going to happen.
I love Em, I have nothing bad to say. Em is Em. He made his mark. He did what he needed to do. He one of them ones who put Detroit on the map. When you think of 8 Mile, you think of Eminem Detroit.”
She added, “I have nothing bad to say. I haven’t met him, he have not tapped in but that’s cool. He’s not obligated to. He’s obligated to tap into who he likes.”
