Chappell Roan has finally unveiled her long-awaited country track, “The Giver.” The pop superstar initially performed the tune on Saturday Night Live on November 2, 2024, and Roan officially announced on Instagram on Tuesday (February 18) that “The Giver” is now available for pre-order on a special aquamarine vinyl 7-inch the singer has dubbed, “The Lawyer Edition.” “Ur ex’s worst nightmare + she gets the job DONE,” Roan wrote in the caption, which features a photo of the musician dressed like a classic attorney in a suit and tie. The Missouri native previously teased “The Giver” through a dial-in stunt on her Instagram Story over the weekend, which prompted fans to dial a phone number – 629-468-8646 (aka “Hot To Go”) –  to hear snippets of the tune. Billboards promoting “The Giver,” as well as Roan’s faux-legal services, have already popped up in New York and Los Angeles, with Chappell alerting fans, “Ps keep ur eyes peeled, she may be on a billboard in your town.” (Billboard)
